We see them everywhere – those funny black squiggles packaged neatly in a square.  They show up on menus, airline tickets, retail stores, business cards, even on our lottery scratchers!

Google Translate

Google Translate is helpful if you’ll be traveling internationally.  It can translate dozens of languages via voice or text.  It even allows you to point your smartphone at a foreign sign or menu and get a live translation.

Google Assistant also has an interpreter mode to help translate a conversation in real-time – very cool for students who may not be fluent in the language!

Here’s an app we can all use while traveling.  ATM Hunter is a super simple way to find the nearest ATM or PayPass locations.  While cashless exchanges are on the rise, there are many destinations that still require currency.
