What is Universal Epic Universe?

Universal Epic Universe is a gateway into five thrilling worlds that exist at the edge of our imaginations. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Ministry of Magic™, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Dark Universe and Celestial Park are at the center of this immersive and very visceral journey.

At the heart of each are never before experienced rides and shows, incredible themed-dining, character meet and greets, and so much more.

Epic Universe is one of four theme parks at Universal Orlando Resort, joining Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay.

Celestial Park

Magnificent Celestial Park brings beauty and brilliance together. It’s a place of stunning landscapes, dancing waters, exquisitely themed dining and shopping, and three breathtaking featured attractions.

The Cosmic Carousel spins you through the cosmos and Astronomica brings water to life.  Then, the Stardust Racers dual-launch coaster propels you through space as a shooting star!

In addition, you’ll find the magnificent Universal Helios Grand Hotel. This is a stunning, 500-room property that is completely integrated into the park!

About The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Ministry of Magic™

Another Harry Potter world? Yep- it’s the magic of the Epic Universe! The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Ministry of Magic™ continues the story as you travel back to 1920s Paris and forward again to the 1990s British Ministry.

You’ll navigate plot twists, turns, and surprises as you explore the next chapter of this world… and experience a few new surprising attractions along the way!

SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™

Power up for an unforgettable interactive experience at SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™. Step into some of your favorite games and “play in a world that you’ve only played on a screen.” It’s the most interactive environment Universal has ever created – bringing Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong, and more to life in a truly epic way!

Goggle up and get into gear as you ride through iconic courses throwing shells and collecting coins. Then boost your play with interactive key challenges on your Power-Up Band. It’s game play like you’ve never known before.

How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk

In this “dragon utopia,” you’ll soar with dragons and adventure with Vikings! The Isle of Berk offers a thrilling live stage show, a dragon racing trainer attraction, flying dragons, and a coaster that careens through the park.

Dark Universe

Things take a dark turn when classic Universal monsters are reimagined as part of the shadowy landscape of the Dark Universe.  From the Frankenstein Experiment to the Curse of the Werewolf, myth, mystery, and terror abound.

When Does Epic Universe Open?

The highly anticipated park will open May 22, 2025 – just before the unofficial start of summer.

In the meantime, pop into the Universal Epic Universe Preview Center at Universal CityWalk. Here you’ll get a sneak peek at the new park in massive model form.

You can even download the Epic Universe Preview Center augmented reality app to experience highlights from many of the upcoming rides and attractions.

When Can We Get Tickets?

On Thursday, October 24th, current Annual Passholders can buy advanced single day tickets ahead of the general public. Other ticket sale dates (including single and two-day admission) are to be announced.

Currently, non-annual passholders will be required to purchase a three-day ticket that includes the two existing parks and Epic Universe. And to help with crowd control in the short term, guests will be able to purchase base or hopper passes. However, they will only be able to hop between the Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios; there will be NO readmission to Epic Universe.

This May, Universal Orlando Resort will be transformed into the most innovative theme park destination ever created.
